Mario Kart 8 is a racing game developed by Nintendo EAD and Bandai Namco Studios and published by Nintendo. It was released on May 29, 2014 in Japan and elsewhere a day later for the Wii U. An enhanced port titled Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released for the Nintendo Switch on April 28, 2017.
