wiki.vg originally started as a place to store technical documentation on reverse engineering efforts for the popular Minecraft game. However, the wiki now accepts any kind of technical knowledge.
You can find many contributors to the Mincraft documentation at #mcdevs on irc.freenode.net. For more information on the IRC channel, see MCDevs.
