Pikmin is a strategy game that was published and developed by Nintendo, and was released in 2001 as a launch title for the Nintendo Gamecube. The game tells the story of a humanoid specimen who crash-lands on an unknown planet, and is greeted by insect-like aliens who he must train and utilize to escape danger and help him get back to his home planet.
